I make homemade gourmet marshmallows with simple ingredients and no high fructose corn syrup. Locally produced as cottage foods in the Treasure Valley, Idaho.
This food was prepared in a home kitchen that is not subject to regulation and inspection by the regulatory authority; may contain allergens.
Any marshmallows that contain dye have no artificial coloring. I use Watkin's food coloring, which is derived from pure vegetable juices and spices including beet juice, turmeric and spirulina extract.
Ingredients
All marshmallows are made with sugar, water, light corn syrup, and gelatin. All marshmallows are dusted with a mixture of corn starch and powdered sugar. All marshmallows have trace amounts of butter, which is used to grease the pan and tools.
Flavored marshmallows contain food flavoring oil, except classic vanilla, which uses pure vanilla extract, and peppermint, which uses 100% pure peppermint oil.
Some marshmallows contain Watkin's food coloring, which is a natural food coloring.
